A dataset on Fruit Fertilizer application for Sweet Orange production

This dataset represents the raw data collected during the study carried out in Benin, West Africa.
The research spanned eight months using a split-plot design with four replications and 15 treatments, including a control. Treatments included doses and application frequencies of NPKUrea, Poultry litter, and Fruit Fertilizer. A total of 300 trees were considered. The trees were 10-14 years old. Each Fruit Fertilizer dose was applied over 10 trees using a MAC AFRIC pressure sprayer. Recommended doses of NPKUrea fertilizer and poultry litter were applied per tree.
Soil texture and nutrient concentration were analyzed from soil samples collected from each experimental site. The canopy density of the sweet orange trees was determined as described by Livingston et al. (2023). Fully developed fruits were harvested and weighed for yield in kilograms per tree.

本数据集为西非贝宁地区开展的相关研究中采集的原始数据。该研究历时八个月，采用裂区设计，设置4次重复与15种处理（含对照组）。处理内容涵盖NPK尿素（NPKUrea）、禽畜垫料与果肥的施用剂量及频次。本次研究共纳入300株树龄10至14年的果树。每种果肥剂量均通过MAC AFRIC压力喷雾器施用于10株果树，而推荐剂量的NPK尿素肥料与禽畜垫料则按单株施用。从各试验地块采集的土壤样本中，分析了土壤质地与养分含量。参照Livingston等人（2023）的方法，测定了甜橙树的冠层密度。采收完全成熟的果实并称重，以千克/株为单位统计单株产量。在"dataset"工作表中，Canopy.density1代表"处理前冠层密度"，Canopy.density2代表"处理后冠层密度"。在"treatments"工作表中，详细列明了所用肥料、施用剂量与施肥日程安排。
