Georeferenced global Dams And Reservoirs (GeoDAR)

This dataset archives successive versions of the GeoDAR (Georeferenced global Dams And Reservoirs) dataset. <br>The current versions include GeoDAR v1.0 and v1.1. GeoDAR v1.0 holds 21,051 dam points georeferenced based on the ICOLD World Register of Dams (WRD; https://www.icold-cigb.org). GeoDAR v1.1 consists of (1) 23,680 dam points following a careful harmonization between GeoDAR v1.0 and the Global Reservoir and Dam Database (GRanD) v1.3, and (2) 20,214 reservoir polygons retrieved from high-resolution water masks.<br>More details are provided in the readme file enclosed in the dataset folder.<br>Citation: Wang, J., Walter, B.A., Yao, F., Song, C., Ding, M., Maroof, M.A.S., Zhu, J., Fan, C., Xin, A., McAlister, J.M., Sikder, M.S., Sheng, Y., Allen, G.H., Crétaux, J.-F., and Wada, Y., 2021. 本数据集归档了GeoDAR（地理参考全球大坝与水库数据集，Georeferenced global Dams And Reservoirs）的历代迭代版本。当前收录版本包括GeoDAR v1.0与v1.1。其中GeoDAR v1.0包含21051个大坝点位，所有点位均基于ICOLD世界大坝名录（WRD；https://www.icold-cigb.org）完成地理参考。
GeoDAR v1.1包含两部分内容：（1）经GeoDAR v1.0与GRanD（全球水库与大坝数据库，Global Reservoir and Dam Database）v1.3严谨对齐整合后得到的23680个大坝点位；（2）从高分辨率水体掩膜中提取的20214个水库多边形矢量数据。
