Difference of plant characteristics and soil properties among three vegetation degradation types of typical steppe in Inner Mongolia

We systematically compared difference of vegetation characteristics, plant carbon stock, soil SOC contents and fractions among three vegetation degradation types (degraded grassland with S. chamaejasme encroachment (SS), degraded grassland without S. chamaejasme encroachment (NS), and non-degraded natural grassland (CK) of typical steppe in Inner Mongolia, China.

本研究以中国内蒙古典型草原为对象，系统对比了三类植被退化类型的植被特征、植物碳储量、土壤有机碳（Soil Organic Carbon, SOC）含量及其组分的差异，三类退化类型分别为：受瑞香狼毒（Stellera chamaejasme，原文缩写S. chamaejasme）入侵的退化草地（SS）、未受瑞香狼毒入侵的退化草地（NS）以及非退化天然草地（CK）。
