Dongxiang wild rice (DXWR, Oryza rufipogon Griff.) is the immediate ancestral progenitor of cultivated rice. We constructed a chromosome-level reference genome of DXWR by Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) and High-through chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C). The reference genome of DXWR was assembled for the first time and will become a valuable resource for rice molecular breeding and genetic research in the future.

东乡野生稻（DXWR，Oryza rufipogon Griff.）是栽培稻的直接野生祖先种。本研究利用牛津纳米孔测序技术（ONT）与高通量染色体构象捕获技术（Hi-C），构建了东乡野生稻的染色体级参考基因组。该参考基因组为首次组装完成的东乡野生稻参考基因组，未来将成为水稻分子育种与遗传研究的宝贵资源。
