Synoptic monthly gridded three dimensional (3D) World Ocean Database temperature and salinity from January 1945 to December 2014 (NCEI Accession 0140938)

The synoptic gridded WOD (SG-WOD) provides 3D world ocean gridded temperature and salinity data in monthly increment from WOD profiles using the Optimal Spectral Decomposition (OSD). The SG-WOD data has the same spatial resolution as WOA2009 (T, S) fields.

网格化综合世界海洋数据库（Synoptic Gridded WOD, SG-WOD）依托世界海洋数据库（World Ocean Database, WOD）的剖面数据，采用最优谱分解（Optimal Spectral Decomposition, OSD）方法，生成了以月为时间步长的全球三维海洋温度与盐度网格化数据集。该数据集的空间分辨率与2009年世界海洋图集（World Ocean Atlas 2009, WOA2009）的温度（T）、盐度（S）场保持一致。
