Hydrothermal Optimal Power Flow Test Systems: Adapted IEEE RTS 24-Bus and 118-Bus Datasets

The datasets presented in this companion document comprise adapted IEEE 24-bus and 118-bus hydrothermal test systems that have been extensively used in the author's research on Hydrothermal Optimal Power Flow (HOPF). The database includes all information required for both nonlinear and convex optimization models, including bus and branch data, thermal generating unit data, hydroelectric generating unit data, and reservoir parameters associated with hydroelectric plants. This document provides a complete description of these datasets, supporting the reproducibility, validation, and benchmarking of hydrothermal power system optimization studies.
