Putative Probiotic Ligilactobacillus salivarius Strains Isolated from the Intestine of Meat-type Pigeon Squabs

The present study was undertaken to screen for potential probiotic lactic acid bacteria (LAB) from the intestines of meat-type pigeons. In total, 4 Ligilactobacillus salivarius strains were isolated and investigated for their probiotic potential by in vitro tests, which included their survival ability in simulated gastrointestinal tract conditions, anti-pathogenic activities against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923, Escherichia coli ATCC25922 and Salmonella SL1344, and their antibiotic susceptibility patterns.

本研究旨在从肉鸽肠道中筛选潜在的益生菌性乳酸菌（Lactic Acid Bacteria，LAB）。本研究共分离得到4株唾液乳杆菌（Ligilactobacillus salivarius），并通过体外实验评估其益生菌潜力，实验内容涵盖模拟胃肠道环境下的存活能力、对金黄色葡萄球菌ATCC25923、大肠杆菌ATCC25922及沙门氏菌SL1344的抗病原活性，以及抗生素敏感性谱。
