中国地理学研究生培养机构数据集（1978–2024年）包括1978—2024年间中国地理学研究生培养机构的硕士点和博士点办学起止年份数据，以及各培养机构的时空分布与属性信息。培养机构数据涵盖了机构名称、机构位置、机构类型（综合性大学、师范院校、理工院校、科研院所等）、学位层次（硕士点/博士点）、学科及专业的开办/停办年份、数据获取率等信息。共统计228个地理学研究生培养机构，涉及地理学一级学科及地理相关专业。

China Graduate Geography Training Institutions Dataset (1978–2024) contains data on the start and end years of master's and doctoral program operations for graduate geography training institutions in China from 1978 to 2024, as well as the spatiotemporal distribution and attribute information of each training institution. The dataset covers detailed information of each training institution, including institution name, location, institution type (comprehensive universities, normal universities, polytechnic universities, scientific research institutes, etc.), degree level (master's program/doctoral program), establishment and discontinuation years of disciplines and specialties, data acquisition rate, and other relevant metrics. A total of 228 graduate geography training institutions are included in the dataset, covering the first-level discipline of Geography and geography-related majors.
