Mut-Seq for azithromycin resistance in Streptococcus pneumoniae

We submitted Streptococcus pneumoniae R6 to chemical mutagenesis and selected for clones with a decreased susceptibility to the macrolide antibiotic azithromycin under aerobic and anaerobic atmosphere.
