GRACE重力计划采用了两颗低高度(300~500km)、近极轨道小卫星的定位和相互跟踪技术来探测地球重力场及其时变特性。广泛使用的数据产品是Level2数据，主要由JPL、CSR、GFZ三家研究机构处理并分发，分别提供了60~120阶不等的月度全球重力场解。
The GRACE (Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment) mission utilizes the positioning and mutual tracking technologies of two small satellites operating in low Earth orbits (300–500 km altitude) and near-polar orbits to detect the Earth's gravitational field and its temporal variations. The most widely used data product is Level-2 data, which is primarily processed and distributed by three research institutions: JPL, CSR, and GFZ. Each of these institutions provides monthly global gravitational field solutions with orders ranging from 60 to 120.
