Escanaba Trough (Gorda Ridge) AUV mission 20140824m1 near-bottom raw sidescan and sub-bottom JSF files (2014)

This Escanaba Trough raw sidescan and sub-bottom data set was collected with an Edgetech 2205 sonar/sub-bottom system on MBARI Mapping AUV mission 20140824m1 (investigators Dave Caress, Dave Clague, Jennifer Paduan). The data files are in JSF MB-System-compatible format (mbio format 132) and contain raw sidescan and sub-bottom data that has not been merged with navigation. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2014 R/V Rachel Carson cruise RCSN204 (chief scientist Dave Caress). Funding was provided by a grant from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to MBARI.

本数据集为埃斯卡纳巴海槽（Escanaba Trough）的原始侧扫声呐与亚底探测数据，由EdgeTech 2205型声呐/亚底探测系统于MBARI测绘自主水下航行器（Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, AUV）任务20140824m1期间采集，调查员包括Dave Caress、Dave Clague与Jennifer Paduan。数据文件采用兼容MB-System的JSF格式（mbio格式132），包含未与导航数据合并的原始侧扫声呐与亚底探测数据。本次AUV测绘任务执行于2014年"雷切尔·卡森号"研究船（R/V Rachel Carson）航次RCSN204期间，首席科学家为Dave Caress。本项目资助由大卫与露西尔·帕卡德基金会（David and Lucile Packard Foundation）提供给MBARI。
