ABYSSLINE UKSRL Contract Area CCZ Megafauna 2013-2015: Chordata

This dataset describes the abyssal megafaunal chordate morphotypes observed during the two ABYSSLINE cruises (AB01/MV1313 - 2013 and AB02/TN319 - 2015) to the UKSRL polymetallic-nodule exploration contract area (UK-1) and the site EPIRB (~250 km east of the UK-1 area) in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone in the Pacific Ocean. These megafaunal chordates were recorded using ROV, AUV, Baited Camera and Baited Lander. There appear to be at least 22 distinct morphospecies identified by imagery and from samples.
