The dataset contains data from a single array mooring covering the depths between 500 m and 2000 m (bottom) at Station M (OWSM) in the Norwegian Seas. The mooring was deployed in November 2021 and retrieved in August 2022. Measurements frequency is 1/1 hr for the hydrography and 1/8 hr for the carbon measurements. At 800 m and 1200 m nominal depth, the pressure has been calculated based on distance between the SBE sensors. Ship CTD was used to correct the SBE-37 sensors at mooring. The ship CTD salinity is corrected by comparing with bottle salinity from the deepest depth. The salinity correction is linear, i.e., use the same correction all over the water depth. The salinity correction vary from station to station at a cruise, but an average offset is used for the whole cruise. Salinity samples for calibration were taken on 2021-11-26, on 2022-01-21, on 2022-05-26, and on 2022-08-02. The CO2 data was collected using a HydroC-CO2 sensor provided by 4H-Jena in Germany. The pCO2 raw data has been converted to fCO2 using temperature and salinity from a SBE-37 and, furthermore, adjusted based on discrete fCO2 data collected in January and May 2022. The adjustment was -18.73 uatm. The discrete fCO2 is calculated from discrete DIC (Dissolved Inorganic Carbon) and TA (Total Alkalinity), using constants from Lueker et al. (2000), Dickson (1990), Lee (2010), and Dickson&Riley (1979). QC flags from EuroSITES are used for all data, where flag 0 is used for raw data (unknown, no QC was performed) and flag 2-4 are used for data that have been QC-ed. Flag 1 is good data, flag 2 is probably good data, flag 3 is potentially correctable bad data, and flag 4 is bad data. This dataset is part of the NorEMSO project (RCN:295962) and EMSO-ERIC.
