Processed Satellite Images from the Antarctic Peninsula acquired during the Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0905 (2009)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Satellite during Laurence M. Gould expedition LMG0905 conducted in 2009 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Douglas Nowacek). These data files are of JPEG format and include Meteorological images that have not been processed. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Collaborative Research: the ecological role of a poorly studied Antarctic krill predator: the humpback whale and Linkages among mitochondrial form, function and thermal tolerance of Antarctic notothenioid fishes, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): ANT07-39483.

本数据集采集自2009年执行的劳伦斯·M·古尔德号（Laurence M. Gould）考察航次LMG0905，本次航次由道格拉斯·诺瓦塞克（Douglas Nowacek）博士担任首席科学家，数据依托船载卫星设备采集获取。本数据集文件采用JPEG（Joint Photographic Experts Group）格式，包含未经处理的气象图像。本数据集为两项合作研究项目的成果：其一为针对研究甚少的南极磷虾捕食者——座头鲸的生态作用开展的研究，其二为关于南极鱼亚目（Notothenioid）鱼类线粒体形态、功能与耐热性之间关联的研究。本研究获得美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）项目ANT07-39483资助。
