Analysis of gene expression in VRK1 knockdown PC3 prostate cancer cells

Total RNA was obtained from PC3 cells with or without VRK1 knockdown to perform a High-throughput sequencing. In our study, VRK1 is necessary for prostate cancer cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo. Therefore, we perform the RNA-seq to explore potential mechanisms of VRK1 regulating cell growth.

本研究从经VRK1基因敲低（VRK1 knockdown）处理及未处理的PC3细胞中提取总RNA，以开展高通量测序（High-throughput sequencing）。本研究证实，VRK1对前列腺癌细胞的体外及体内增殖均具有必需作用，因此本研究通过RNA测序（RNA-seq）探究VRK1调控细胞生长的潜在分子机制。
