The Para rubber tree, Hevea brasiliensis, is the main crop involved in industrial rubber production due to its superior quality. The Hevea bark is commercially exploited to obtain latex, which is produced from the articulated secondary laticifer. The genes and signalling pathways associated with secondary laticifer differentiation (SLD) have been reported in our previous report based on microarray data but the underlying transcriptional events remain scarce. Here, we described the transcriptional events related to jasmonic acid (JA)- and linolenic acid (LA)-induced secondary laticifer differentiation in H. brasiliensis based on RNA-seq approach.

巴西橡胶树(Hevea brasiliensis)凭借优异的品质,成为工业橡胶生产的主栽作物。商业上可通过采集其树皮获取胶乳,而胶乳源自节状次生乳管(articulated secondary laticifer)。我们此前基于微阵列(microarray)数据的研究已报道了与次生乳管分化(secondary laticifer differentiation, SLD)相关的基因及信号通路,但其中潜在的转录调控事件仍鲜有报道。本研究基于RNA测序(RNA-seq)技术,解析了茉莉酸(jasmonic acid, JA)与亚麻酸(linolenic acid, LA)诱导巴西橡胶树次生乳管分化的相关转录事件。
