UM1 and UM2 are paired cell lines generated from a oral cancer patient [Nakayama, et al Invas. Metast., 18 (1998), pp. 219–228]. UM1 is highly invasive and exhibits elevated metastatic potential as compared to UM2. Overall design: We use microarray to identify differentially expressed gene in UM1 and UM2 cells. Cells were grown with standard procedure, and total RNA was isolated with Qiagen kit, and then hybridized to the Affymetirx arrays.
UM1与UM2为源自单例口腔癌患者的配对细胞系[Nakayama等人,《Invas. Metast.》,18卷(1998年),第219–228页]。与UM2相比,UM1侵袭能力更强,转移潜能更高。本研究的实验设计为:通过微阵列(microarray)技术鉴定UM1与UM2细胞间的差异表达基因(differentially expressed gene)。实验过程中,细胞按照标准流程培养,采用Qiagen试剂盒提取总RNA(total RNA),随后与Affymetrix阵列进行杂交。
