Seoul, South Korea 2022 Spring PM2.5 bacteria

This project investigates the bacterial communities in PM2.5 samples collected from Seoul, South Korea, during the spring of 2022. DNA was extracted from the particulate matter, and 16S rRNA was amplified and sequenced using the Illumina MiSeq platform. The study aims to characterize the bacterial diversity in the atmosphere and understand the potential environmental and seasonal influences on bacterial populations in airborne particulate matter.

本项目针对2022年春季采自韩国首尔的PM2.5样本中的细菌群落展开探究。研究人员从颗粒物样品中提取脱氧核糖核酸（DNA），并依托Illumina MiSeq测序平台对16S核糖体RNA（16S rRNA）进行扩增与测序。本研究旨在明确大气环境中的细菌多样性特征，并解析空气颗粒物内细菌种群所受的潜在环境与季节影响因素。
