POES NOAA AVHRR Imagery. Version 1.0

This dataset contains the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) imagery collected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Polar Orbiting Environmental Satellite (POES) system from the area and time of interest of the Bow Echo and Mesoscale Convective Vortex Experiment (BAMEX) 2003 project. Images from four channels of the AVHRR aboard NOAA 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 are included all at a 1km resolution. Additional information is available at NOAA Mapped Mosaics website.

本数据集包含2003年弓状回波与中尺度对流涡旋实验（BAMEX）项目关注区域及时段内，由美国国家海洋和大气管理局（NOAA）极轨环境卫星（POES）系统搭载的高级甚高分辨率辐射计（AVHRR）采集的影像。数据集涵盖NOAA 12、14、15、16及17号卫星上AVHRR的4个通道影像，所有影像分辨率均为1千米。更多信息可在NOAA地图镶嵌网站获取。
