本研究采用单细胞测序技术，对7530个新生胰腺β细胞进行分析。研究使用Cell Ranger工具对原始测序数据完成比对、基因组计数、背景细胞与细胞转录本UMI的过滤，并通过细胞条形码（cell barcode）生成基因-条形码矩阵。随后对样本开展分组、基因表达分析等处理，并输出各样本测序数据的统计结果。整体设计：单细胞RNA测序（scRNA-Seq）；源自间充质干细胞（MSCs）的胰岛β细胞。
