This study examined the effects of dietary Gracilariopsis persica (0, 1, 3, and 5%) on growth performance, carcass traits, blood biochemistry, intestinal morphology, and cecal microbiota of Japanese quails during a 42‑day feeding trial. A total of 480 birds were randomly assigned to four treatments with four replicates of 30 birds each. Performance data (BW, WG, FI, FCR) were recorded at the pen level, while carcass, blood, jejunal morphology, and cecal microbiota measurements were taken from representative birds at day 42.
Overall, 1–3% seaweed maintained growth performance similar to the control, whereas 5% reduced final body weight. A 1% inclusion improved villus width, and the 5% diet increased Lactobacillus counts in the cecum. These results indicate dose‑dependent responses, with 1–3% representing a practical inclusion range.

Raw data for growth performance and carcass traits are available from the corresponding author. For intestinal morphology and microbiota, only processed results reported in the manuscript are available, as the original raw measurements are no longer accessible. All processed datasets and analytical outputs will be provided upon reasonable request.
本研究开展为期42天的饲养试验,探究日粮中添加波斯蜈蚣藻(Gracilariopsis persica)(添加梯度为0、1%、3%及5%)对日本鹌鹑生长性能、胴体性状、血液生化指标、肠道形态及盲肠微生物群的影响。试验共选用480只鹌鹑,随机分为4个处理组,每组设置4个重复,每个重复饲养30只鹌鹑。生长性能指标包括体重(Body Weight, BW)、日增重(Weight Gain, WG)、采食量(Feed Intake, FI)及料重比(Feed Conversion Ratio, FCR),以栏舍为单位进行记录;试验第42天时,从各重复中选取代表性个体开展胴体性状、血液生化、空肠形态及盲肠微生物群相关指标的测定。
整体而言,日粮中添加1%~3%的波斯蜈蚣藻可维持与对照组相当的生长性能,而5%的添加水平则会降低鹌鹑的最终体重。1%的添加比例可改善肠绒毛宽度,5%的日粮配方则可提升盲肠内乳酸杆菌(Lactobacillus)的数量。上述结果表明该添加效果存在剂量依赖性,1%~3%为适宜的实用添加范围。
