Genome sequencing of Chenopodium formosanum

To facilitate characterization and preservation of C. formosanum (aka. djulis) genetic diversity and to begin to characterize the genetic mechanisms underlying its desirable agronomic and medicinal traits, we present a reference-quality, whole-genome assembly of C. formosanum and compare its constituent B, C, and D sub-genomes for genic and repetitive sequence compositions.

为助力台湾藜（Chenopodium formosanum，俗称djulis）遗传多样性的解析与保藏，并初步阐明其优良农艺与药用性状背后的遗传机制，本研究构建了该物种的参考级全基因组组装，并针对其包含的B、C、D三个亚基因组的基因序列与重复序列组成开展比较分析。
