The Parkes Pulsar Timing Array (PPTA) Data Release 1

This collection contains data from the Parkes Pulsar Timing Array (PPTA) project. This project makes use of observations of radio pulsars from the CSIRO Parkes radio telescope. The project has three main goals: 1) detecting gravitational waves, 2) developing a pulsar-based time standard and 3) searching for unknown objects in our solar system. The data provided here is the first data release from the PPTA project. It contains pulse arrival times and timing models for 20 millisecond pulsars.\nLineage: The processing algorithms used to create this data set have been described in Manchester et al. (2013; see related materials below for a link to the paper). The PSRCHIVE and TEMPO2 software packages were used and the pipeline script is included as part of the data release.
