"Based on information scattered in various sources, the article presents: the history of the development of the optical telegraph, the creation of the underwater telephone by Ye. V. Kolbasyev, the activities of A. S. Popov in the Black Sea Fleet (BSF), innovations in the development of communication technologies in the BSF in 1993\u20132002, as well as information on work in the field of radio control and radio direction finding in the BSF. The results of the study are presented in the compendium format, summarized in a table and illustrated with info graphics."
