This series contains the registers of deceased persons at Bankstown Hospital.The registers contain the following information: Receipt of body: date, time, from, valuables on body, received by; particulars of deceased: surname, full Christian name, age, sex, religion, death certificate sighted by; report to Coroner: whether necessary, by whom done; autopsy authority sighted by, body claimed by, authority for removal sighted by; removal of body: date, time, valuables remaining on body, signature of person receiving body.The registers were kept at the hospital switchboard. The mortuary register copies contain duplicate information of deceased individuals.
