Candida albicans water-soluble fraction (CAWS)-induced coronary inflammation increased in NOD1-deficient mice. To investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the aggravation of inflammation, gene expression in CAWS-stimulated bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) was evaluated. Overall design: Bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs) derived from WT (C57BL/6) and Homozygous NOD1-KO mice were stimulated with 100 µg/mL CAWS. The cells were collected before CAWS stimulation and at 48 h and day8 after stimulation.
