Side-scan sonar dataset of Zone B2, Hainan Island. The coverage period spans 2007–2008, with the covered area being the sea area deeper than 5 meters near the eastern coast of Hainan Island. The dataset has a coverage area of 1997.87 square kilometers, and the total length of survey lines is 611.29 kilometers, with a scale of 1:100,000. The side-scan sonar data of this dataset was collected using an EdgeTech 4100P shallow-water side-scan sonar, and the measurement parameters were determined based on specific on-site survey conditions.
