CURRENT DIRECTION, ICE - MOVEMENT - DIRECTION and other data from DRIFTING PLATFORM in the NW Atlantic from 1993-06-10 to 1993-09-23 (NODC Accession 9400065)

The Global Positioning System (GPS) tracked drifting buoy data in this accession was collected in NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) between June 10, 1993 and September 23, 1993 as part of Physical Oceanography Field Program offshore North Carolina by Science Applications, Inc., Raleigh, NC. The project was supported by grant MMS # 14-35-0001-30599 Project # 0208. The water depth and other drifting bouy data from 18 GPS and 1 ARGOS-Tracked drifter submitted in a tape by Ms Susan C. Root has been processed by NODC and is currently available in F156 Drifting Buoy file format.

本次入库的全球定位系统（GPS）跟踪漂流浮标数据，采集于1993年6月10日至1993年9月23日期间的西北大西洋（以西经40°为界）海域，由位于北卡罗来纳州罗利市的科学应用公司（Science Applications, Inc.）作为北卡罗来纳州近海物理海洋学野外考察计划的一部分完成采集。本项目获资助编号为MMS # 14-35-0001-30599、项目编号为0208的项目资助。此外，由苏珊·C·鲁特（Susan C. Root）女士以磁带形式提交的18台GPS跟踪漂流浮标与1台ARGOS跟踪漂流浮标的水深及其他相关数据，已由国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center, NODC）完成处理，目前可通过F156漂流浮标数据文件格式获取。
