A four-day experiment was conducted in October 2022 to resolve performance curves for temperature, pH and lithium contamination and understand their combined effects on Paracentrotus lividus larval growth. Adults were collected at Cap d'Ail, France and transferred to the Marine Environment Laboratories of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Monaco, where fertilization and the subsequent aquarium experiments were carried out in closed borosilicate bottles. Larval body length was measured after the experiment from microscopic photographs of the larvae, and growth rate calculated by dividing the body length with days since fertilization. At the end of the experiment, lithium concentration was measured with optical emission spectrometry, pH on the total scale with a TRIS-calibrated electrode, total alkalinity with open cell potentiometric titration, salinity with a salinometer, and the carbonate system calculated using the seacarb package in R. Temperature was measured continuously and averaged. This dataset provides the above parameters.
