Colorectal cancer is associated with the presence of cancer driver mutations in normal colon

Normal colon mucosa tissue analysed using ultra-deep sequencing technologies reveals that patients with colorectal cancer carry more mutations in their normal tissue than patients without cancer, being these mutations more pathogenic and frequent in cancer.

采用超深度测序（ultra-deep sequencing）技术分析正常结肠黏膜组织的研究结果显示，结直肠癌患者的正常组织中所含突变数量多于无癌人群，且此类突变在癌组织中具有更强的致病性与更高的发生频率。
