This work focuses on gaining a better understanding of the molecular epidemiology of mcr Enterobacteriaceae and mcr plasmids from a pig farm in Great Britain by characterising selected isolates by whole genome sequencing. Isolates from pig faeces were collected over the course of five months (September 2015 to January 2016) resulting a in a total of 54 mcr-1 positive isolates of which 7 were also mcr-3 positive.

本研究通过全基因组测序(whole genome sequencing)对筛选得到的分离株进行分型鉴定,以更深入解析英国某养猪场来源的携带mcr基因的肠杆菌科(Enterobacteriaceae)细菌及其携带的mcr质粒的分子流行病学特征。研究于2015年9月至2016年1月的五个月间采集该养猪场的猪粪便分离株,最终共获得54株mcr-1阳性分离株,其中7株同时为mcr-3阳性。
