This study investigates the impact of different stool collection devices and homogenization strategies on human gut microbiome profiling. Paired fecal samples from healthy adult volunteers were collected and processed using fresh stool and multiple swab-based devices. Microbial community profiles were generated by 16S rRNA gene sequencing (V3-V4 region) to assess the effect of pre-analytical variables on sequencing outcomes.
本研究探讨不同粪便采集装置及均质化策略对人类肠道微生物组谱分析的影响。研究收集健康成年志愿者的配对粪便样本,分别采用新鲜粪便及多种拭子类采集装置对样本进行处理。通过16S rRNA基因测序(16S rRNA gene sequencing)的V3-V4可变区生成微生物群落谱,以评估分析前变量对测序结果的影响。
