针对聚球藻Synechococcus sp. YX04-3和异养细菌共培养体系,开展胞内和胞外宏蛋白质组研究光合自养与异养细菌在功能表达层面的互作关系。分析表明不同类群的异养细菌协同作用,利用聚球藻产生的高分子量有机物质,将其矿化成无机营养盐供聚球藻利用,实现了共栖体系中营养物质循环。

An intracellular and extracellular metaproteomic study was conducted on the co-culture system of Synechococcus sp. YX04-3 and heterotrophic bacteria, to elucidate the functional expression-level interactions between photoautotrophs and heterotrophic bacteria. The analysis revealed that heterotrophic bacteria from diverse taxa exert synergistic effects: they utilize the high-molecular-weight organic matter produced by Synechococcus, mineralize it into inorganic nutrients that can be utilized by Synechococcus, thereby achieving nutrient cycling within the commensal co-culture system.
