Galaxy PAnDa: Galaxy Pitch Angle Database

Galaxy PAnDa is the Galaxy Pitch Angle Database, a collection of published galaxy spiral arm pitch angles from various sources. The database can be downloaded directly as a CSV file or it can be accessed and searched via a user interface at https://paddyws.github.io/PitchAngleDatabase. The current version of the database contains 10,373 records with the following information: Galaxy_name = Galaxy name J2000_position = J2000 coordinates Hyperleda_link = Link to galaxy's data in Hyperleda PA_degrees = Published pitch angle in degrees PA_err_degrees = Published pitch angle error in degrees Reference = Publication where the pitch angle was recorded DOI = DOI for the publication where the pitch angle was recorded Method = Pitch angle measurment method Band = Waveband of the image from which the measurement was taken ImageSource = Source of the image (telescope or survey) from which the measurement was taken Measurement_Type = Component of the galaxy measured resulting in the recorded pitch angle RA_deg = Right ascension coordinate in degrees Dec_deg = Declination coordinate in degrees
