Overview This dataset contains the complete, consolidated cross-correlation tracking data for the unidentified UV absorbers in the Venusian atmosphere. Features were identified and tracked at the 365 nm wavelength using median filtering and cross-correlation surfaces.
Data Scope The data includes tracking metrics at two distinct contrast detection thresholds: a strict limit (-15% to -30%) and a relaxed limit (-5% to -30%). All raw imaging data was sourced from the JAXA Akatsuki Venus Climate Orbiter.
Context This dataset was compiled and processed as part of an Integrated Master's dissertation project at the School of Physics and Astronomy, Cardiff University.
