Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) acquired during the Maurice Ewing expedition EW9606 (1996)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based BellAerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter, Varian Inc. V75 Magnetometer, and Atlas Hydrosweep DS Multibeam Sonar system during Maurice Ewing expedition EW9606 conducted in 1996 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Brian Tucholke). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Singlebeam Bathymetry, Magnetic Field, and Gravity Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Off-Axis Structure of Oceanic Crust Within Ridge Segments and at Intervening Small Non-Transform/Offsets: Mid-Atlantic Ridge, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE95-03561.
