资源简介:
Whereas estrogens exert their effects by binding to nuclear estrogen receptors and directly altering target gene transcription, they can also initiate extranuclear signaling through activation of kinase cascades. We have investigated the impact of estrogen-mediated extranuclear initiated pathways on global gene expression by using estrpgen-dendrimer conjugates. Keywords: ligand treatment MCF-7 human breast adenocarcinoma cells were treated with empty dendrimer control, E2, or Estrogen Dendrimer Conjugate (EDC) for 4 hours, and cDNA microarray analyses were carried out using Affymetrix HG-U133A GeneChips
雌激素可通过结合细胞核雌激素受体(nuclear estrogen receptors)并直接调控靶基因转录介导生物学效应,同时还可通过激活激酶级联反应(kinase cascades)启动核外信号通路。本研究通过使用estrpgen-树枝状聚合物偶联物(estrpgen-dendrimer conjugates),探究了雌激素介导的核外启动通路对全局基因表达的影响。
