In this study, osteocytes were proved to be capable of delivering mitochondria to endothelial cells in cortical bone and promotes its angiogenesis. By utilizing RNA seq, we investigated the effect of osteocytes-derived mitochondria on endothelial cells. bEnd.3 cells were co-cultured with or without mitochondria isolated from MLO-Y4 cells in vitro. After 24 hours, bEnd.3 cells were collected for further RNA-Seq analysis.

本研究证实,骨细胞(osteocytes)可向皮质骨内的内皮细胞递送线粒体,并促进其血管生成。本研究通过RNA测序(RNA-seq)技术,探究了骨细胞来源的线粒体对内皮细胞的影响。体外实验中,将bEnd.3细胞与从MLO-Y4细胞中分离得到的线粒体进行共培养,同时设置未添加线粒体的对照组;培养24小时后,收集bEnd.3细胞以开展后续的RNA-seq分析。
