RNA-seq analysis of ear under the four different water regimes

The axillary meristems of the developing ears were sampled. The ears with similar sizes of (2-5, 10, 15, 20, 50 mm in length) obtained under different levels of water regimes. Each sample was pooled from at least three individual plants, and two replicates were performed for RNA preparation and sequenced on the Illumina HiSequation 4000 system.

本研究采集发育中穗的腋生分生组织（axillary meristems）作为样本。所有被采样的穗均在不同水分梯度下获取，其长度分别为2-5、10、15、20及50毫米。每个样本均由至少3株独立植株的组织混合制备，并设置两个生物学重复用于RNA提取，随后在Illumina HiSequation 4000测序平台上完成测序。
