Microbiome analysis of cold related stress in poultry

The study aims to determine whether cold stress exposure during the first week post-hatch (e.g. early life) elicits increases in stress-related neurochemical concentrations in the chicken gut as well as impact the taxonomic and functional trajectory of the intestinal microbiome into the chickens later life.

本研究旨在探明，雏鸡出壳后第一周（即生命早期）暴露于冷应激环境，是否会诱导鸡肠道内应激相关神经化学物质浓度升高，同时是否会影响肠道微生物组的分类学与功能动态轨迹，并延续至雏鸡生命后期。
