提供具備正式學籍之在學學生【男、女】總人數，包括本國籍學生、僑生、外國學生(含雙聯學制學生)、大陸地區來臺就讀之學位生等；但不包括選讀生、休退學生、學分班、交換生(非學位生)、保留入學資格或無學籍學生等；另國際專修部之學位先修生於112學年前不計列，113學年後計入本表；本資料集以每年10月15日為資料標準日，按學校代碼、學校名稱、日間/進修別、等級別、年級別、姓別、縣市名稱、體系別。

This dataset provides the total number of enrolled students with formal student status, broken down by gender (male and female). Covered student groups include domestic students, overseas Chinese students, foreign students (including those enrolled in dual-degree programs), and degree-seeking students from mainland China studying in Taiwan. Excluded from the dataset are auditing students, suspended or withdrawn students, non-degree credit program students, non-degree-seeking exchange students, students who have retained admission eligibility but lack formal student registration, and students without official student status. Additionally, pre-degree students in the International Specialized Division were not counted prior to the 112th academic year, and will be included in this dataset starting from the 113th academic year. The data reference date for this dataset is October 15 of each year, and the dataset is organized along the following dimensions: school code, school name, day/extension division, education level, grade, gender, county/city name, and academic system category.
