Sub-bottom Chirp profile survey track lines from eastern Long Island Sound (2024, 2025)

This Shapefile contains the track lines along which sub-bottom data was collected in eastern Long Island Sound in August 2024 and May 2025 using R/V Pritchard. The sub-bottom data was acquired with a towed EdgeTech 3400-OTS Chirp system using a sweep frequency of 2-16kHz. The survey was made up of individual north-south-trending and east-west-trending lines. The shapefile contains the following attributes. Line: is the line name and identifier of each track line. survey: The name of the survey during which the data were collected num_shot: The number of individual traces or shots in each track line start_time: date and time of the start of the line end_time: data and time of the end of the line system: the name of the subbottom system used to collect the data length: the length of each line in kilometers. The work was funded with CT DEEP award CDEP 2003-191.

本形状文件（Shapefile）收录了2024年8月与2025年5月期间，依托Pritchard号科考船（R/V Pritchard）在长岛湾东部海域开展海底浅层探测数据采集的测线轨迹。本次采集所用的海底浅层探测数据由拖曳式EdgeTech 3400-OTS Chirp系统完成，系统扫频范围为2-16kHz。本次调查由多组南北走向与东西走向的独立测线构成。该Shapefile包含以下属性字段：Line：各测线的名称与唯一标识符；survey：数据采集所属的调查项目名称；num_shot：单条测线的独立地震道或激发点总数；start_time：测线起始采集的日期与时间；end_time：测线结束采集的日期与时间；system：数据采集所用的海底浅层探测系统名称；length：单条测线的长度，单位为千米。本项目由康涅狄格州能源与环境保护部（CT DEEP）通过编号为CDEP 2003-191的资助项目支持。
