The FNL (Final Operational Global Analysis) dataset serves as initial and lateral boundary condition data for numerical models. It is a global reanalysis dataset provided by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NECP), with a spatial resolution of 1°×1°, a temporal resolution of 6 hours (at 00, 06, 12, and 18 UTC), and 34 vertical levels. This dataset enables acquisition of realistic global and regional meteorological conditions. Derived from the Global Data Assimilation System (GDAS), it continuously collects observational data from across the globe, and its spatial and temporal resolutions meet the requirements of numerical model simulations.
