High-speed samplers were deployed to obtain the abundance distribution and individual biological characteristics of Antarctic krill around Antarctica. The IKMT net was primarily utilized to survey krill distribution and individual biological characteristics across all experimental survey areas, where oblique trawling using the IKMT net was performed to collect krill samples. Following transportation to the onshore laboratory, the collected krill samples were counted and weighed. Additionally, krill samples from several stations with relatively high abundances were classified based on their sexual maturity stages, and their body length and eye diameter were measured to elucidate the growth status of Antarctic krill in the Southern Ocean.
