adaptation of hadal amphipods

Hadal trench is an extreme environment, whereas hadal amphipods could survive there and become the dominant species. Based on the NGS, the adaptive mechanisms of hadal amphipods have been studied in our study which could shed light upon the convergent strategies different hadal species adopted to live in the greatest depth.

超深渊海沟（hadal trench）属于极端环境，超深渊端足类（hadal amphipods）可在此存活并成为该环境的优势物种。本研究基于下一代测序技术（Next-Generation Sequencing，NGS），对超深渊端足类的适应机制展开了研究，该研究有助于阐明不同超深渊物种为栖息于海洋最深处所采用的趋同生存策略。
