Microbial community analysis of a cold sulfur spring in Blount Springs, Alabama Metagenome

This study investigates bacterial community composition from a cold sulfur spring in Blount Springs, Alabama using 16S rRNA V1- V3 amplicon sequencing. Samples were collected from biofilm and submerged leaf litter. Sequences were generated using Illumina paired-end technology and processed with DADA2.

本研究以美国阿拉巴马州布朗特斯普林斯（Blount Springs）的低温硫泉为研究对象，采用16S rRNA V1-V3区扩增子测序（16S rRNA V1-V3 amplicon sequencing）技术解析其细菌群落组成。研究分别从生物膜与浸没的落叶凋落物中采集样本，测序数据通过Illumina双端测序技术生成，后续序列处理工作采用DADA2工具完成。
