Nup54-mEGFP494融合蛋白的mEGFP（单体增强绿色荧光蛋白，monomeric enhanced green fluorescent protein）标签融合于卷曲螺旋结构域（coiled-coiled domain）的羧基末端，该融合位点对应第494位氨基酸。每一次后续的单氨基酸缺失突变，均会改变p:s比值。
