Topical dithranol (anthralin) has remained an effective anti-psoriatic agent. Although dithranol has been used for many years, it has never been fully revealed how dithranol exerts its anti-psoriatic mechanisms.Thus, we studied the therapeutic mechanisms of this drug in serial biopsies from human psoriatic lesions. To investigate the effect of topical dithranol treatment on mRNA expression in psoriasis, dithranol-treated psoriasis skin biopsy were analyzed with RNA Seq and compared to untreated psoriasis and non-lesional skin.
外用地蒽酚(dithranol,又称anthralin)至今仍是一款有效的抗银屑病制剂。尽管该药物已被临床应用多年,但其发挥抗银屑病作用的具体分子机制尚未被完全阐明。为此,本研究通过采集人类银屑病皮损的系列活检样本,对该药物的治疗机制展开了系统探究。为明确外用地蒽酚治疗对银屑病患者皮损组织mRNA表达的影响,研究团队对经地蒽酚处理的银屑病皮肤活检样本进行了RNA测序(RNA Seq)分析,并将其与未处理的银屑病皮损及非皮损皮肤样本进行了对照比较。
