The dataset brings together data associated with the publication Structural analysis of an endogenous 4-megadalton succinyl-CoA-generating metabolon. It includes the following publicly available resources: EMPIAR-11502 – Cryo-EM SPA dataset of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex from a Chaetomium thermophilum native cell extract (raw cryo-EM dataset). EMD-16900 – Cryo-EM reconstruction of the native 24-mer E2o core of the 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex of C. thermophilum at 3.35 Å resolution (cryo-EM map). PDB 8OIU – Cryo-EM reconstruction of the native 24-mer E2o core of the 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex of C. thermophilum at 3.35 Å resolution (structural model). The datasets were generated within the ERA Chair / Hot4Cryo project by the Institute of Chemical Biology of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) in collaboration with the laboratory of Professor Panagiotis Kastritis at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
