Escherichia coli W3110 and a group of four isogenic derivative strains, harboring single or multiple deletions of genes encoding phosphoenolpyruvate:sugar phosphotransferase system (PTS) dependent transporters as well as non-PTS transporters were tested characterized to determine the physiological effects of reduced glucose import capacity on global transcriptomic profiles.
本研究针对大肠杆菌W3110(Escherichia coli W3110)及一组共4株同基因衍生菌株展开测试与表征。上述菌株均携带编码磷酸烯醇式丙酮酸:糖磷酸转移酶系统(phosphoenolpyruvate:sugar phosphotransferase system,简称PTS)依赖型转运蛋白与非PTS转运蛋白的基因的单基因或多基因缺失,旨在明确葡萄糖摄入能力降低对全局转录组谱所产生的生理学效应。
